They always say to plan something for a group of five and expect only one person to arrive. But not this time! Finally, our long-overdue get-together materialized last August! Together with my busy yet energetic friends, we found ourselves agreeing to spend some time in Tagaytay’s most sought-after destination, the famous Twin Lakes Hotel.
In line with the property’s commitment to “Bond with Nature, Stay in Style”, we braved weekdays to fully enjoy our bonding and catch up on what’s happening with our busy lives. As you know, when bloggers travel, we make sure that outfit itineraries are equal to the other itineraries planned for that place.
For starters, Twin Lakes is a 1,200-hectare mixed-use leisure and resort community that raises the bar of living in Tagaytay. Within the tourism estate, you’ll get the best of Europe at the first residential cluster called Twin Lakes Vineyard Residences, which is composed of three mid-rise condominium towers named after famous grape varieties: Shiraz, Merlot, and Chardonnay.
Actually, the reason we brought so much is because Twin Lakes Hotel’s interior is such a grandiose treat for our eyes. Of course, we match that with whatever is in our closets.
I was planning to tour you with our hotel experience as we unfolded every activity, but I decided to just simply enumerate things that we love in Twin Lakes Hotel. Together with (left to right below) JC Lo, Rodel Flordeliz, MJ De Leon, myself, Thea Tolentino, Paul Chuapoco, Pamela Andres, and Mikyle Quizon, may I interest you in the 7 reasons why your Tagaytay vacation should happen at the Twin Lakes Hotel Tagaytay.
THE VIEW
We arrived around lunchtime at the Twin Lakes Hotel. If there’s one thing you should consider in arranging an awesome vacation in Tagaytay, you must prioritize the view from your balcony room overlooking Lake Taal. While Tagaytay weather gives us the bonus of cool weather, Twin Lakes Hotel made sure that all of their rooms had access to that wonderful view.
Oh man, I’m telling you. Standing right there in the comfort of our balconies made me forget all my worries. This is Twin Lakes saying you’re here to relax. Allow us.”
SPACIOUS ROOMS
Imagine staying in a spacious room with a balcony that gives you an awesome view of a vineyard, an infinity pool, and Lake Taal from afar. Twin Lakes houses 126 suites, enough for family and friends to enjoy the space. Let me tour you through my room.
Their Presidential suites and 2-bedroom family suites measure 106 square meters in size, and their Deluxe and Superior rooms measure 36 and 34 square meters, respectively.
HEATED INFINITY POOL
As we all know, Tagaytay is one of the cities that gives us that escape from our all-year-round tropical weather. While it is nice to feel that cool breeze while in Tagaytay, a vacation with your loved ones is best when you swim at the Twin Lakes Hotel’s infinity pool. And to make sure we enjoy the vineyard and lakeview while bonding, Twin Lakes made it a heated pool! Can you not love how they pamper our guests? This Heated Infinity Pool opens from 7pm until 11pm
GAME ROOM
While you can only do so much on any vacation, Twin Lakes Hotel offers a different kind of recreation. After your sumptuous meal or swim, may I introduce you to their awesome game room? From the board games we love up to the private billiards game you’ve been longing to have, their game room is an opportunity for you to extra-bond with your family and friends. Oh, I am terribly missing school playing this!
FOOD / BOOZE
As I have been sharing from my previous hotel vacations, breakfast is one thing I always consider. Twin Lakes offers such a good set of breakfasts, not to mention a variety of dishes to please their guests with their sumptuous selections.
When we arrived, they served Filipino dishes that made everyone love the hotel already.
They also have the Zabana bar, where they serve signature Zabana rhums, high-end wines and liquors. Of course, we get cozy to the bar. Here I am with Thea Tolentino and Rodel Flordeliz owning the bar!
TWIN LAKES SHOPPING VILLAGE
Planning a vacation in Tagaytay is fun and exciting. What’s next after your hotel booking is to plan where to eat. Other than crowded coffee shops, traffic, and even restaurant queues, sometimes you end up searching in different places far from your hotel. This is why Twin Lakes Hotel is now the best choice for Tagaytay vacation. They have the Twin Lakes Shopping Village, where they have their own community of restaurants, coffee shops, and party bars. During our stay, we visited Tap Station and had good drinks and games in this artistic bar where they serve different kinds of beers and malts.
The next day, we had our lunch at the famous Sunrise Bucket Seafood Dining.
We also visited this Purple Beetle Café before we left at night and definitely enjoyed milkshakes, burgers, and pasta. It was one huge cheat day for us.
CLUB ACCESS
Also, as part of Megaworld’s group of hotels in the country, they’re also a part of Club Access. This is Megaworld’s privilege membership where everyone can enjoy unimaginable perks for choosing Megaworld Hotel.
I wrote about these wonderful perks during its launch. And I would say that it is indeed a value-for-money investment with unlimited perks. For more information about getting one for your self, click here: https://rodmagaru.com/2018/08/megaworld-hotel-club-access-membership-card/
Twin Lakes also hosts holy mass every Saturday for those planning to stay over the weekend. All in all, I enjoyed my stay. We are definitely going back! Thank you, Twin Lakes Hotel, for pampering us well. We will definitely spread the news!
