(EVENT) Mountain Dew Hosted an Epic weekend for Thrill Seekers!

Last time, I visited BGC again now to chill and dine in our favorite resto but to experience one of the most exhilarating activities in town. Dubbed as the Dew Nation headquarters, Mountain Dew hosted an epic weekend for adrenaline junkies and thrill seekers alike. Well you know extreme sports is not really my kind of stuff but good thing there are other no-brainer games for us!

According to Kay Paras, PepsiCo Flavors Category Manager, “A first in the Philippines, Mountain Dew’s campaign challenges consumers to stop being spectators and take part in pursuing the things they’re passionate about. It was truly a thrilling sight to see so many Filipinos that actually answered our call and made it to the Dew Nation HQ for a chance to partake in vigorousactivities around like-minded people who share the same passions and lifestyle.”

So here are some of the activities happened during the epic weekend!

Suzy from Magic 899 hosted the event and welcomed extremists (in terms of sports) such as Ramon Bautista, Joyce Pring, Sam YG and a lot more.

I tried one of their indoors, the virtual reality basketball games, and surprisingly I was able to shoot a couple! Dew Nation HQ had multiple Virtual Reality consoles for a more hands-on and active gaming experience.

Fellow racer Sam YG added “We’re definitely adding ATVs to our to-do list whenever we get the chance! The speed and height we get from jumps is unlike anything I’ve tried before.” Here he is busy with his race.

Of course, Ruth Dela Cruz and I tried the Pop the Balloon using remote controlled cars with harmless knife. It was so fun rushing to pop the balloon. Look at us on our very game face gigil.

We are fighting against Joyce Pring!

The Dew crew put on quite a show for the attendees as they exhibited their sickest skateboarding and BMX tricks. Jaws dropped as they sped through humps and quick turns while catching some air and flips every now and then. Some lucky skateboarders and bikers even got to join the Dew crew for a trick tutorial and jam when the event was winding down.

Mountain Dew fans definitely made the right choice not to pass up the opportunity to join their fellow thrill seekers in making history. The stage for an epic weekend had been set and all that was missing were people to join in the mayhem.

After participating in some of the games, Rodel Flordeliz, Ruth Delacruz & I finished few bottles of Mountain Dew. It was a fun experience!
