(TV) MTRCB Summons ABSCBN for Til I Met You October Episodes

Movie and Television Review & Classification Board (MTRCB) is sending an URGENT request for a meeting with the creator of one of the current television series of ABSCBN, Til I Met You after the board received multiple feedback from social and conventional media on Til I Met You episodes aired last October 25, 26, 27 & 28, 2016.

In a letter sent by MTRCB Chairperson and addressed to Directors, Antoinette Jadaone and Andoy Ranay, executive producers Arnel Nacario and its writer Shugo Praico, the Board is compelled to ask them to attend a conference scheduled on November 10, 2016 at the MTRCB Adjudication Room in regard to the above-captioned episodes.

Here are the topics the board would like to discuss with Til I Met You production.
1. October 25 episode includes a purportedly daring lovemaking scene inside a motor vehicle, which some audiences found to be unfit fot television (despite its “SPG” advisory).

2. October 26 casual use of the words “sex lang yan” without reference to, or in disregard of, the institution of
marriage.

3. October 27 & 28 Episodes – contain allegedly “sexually teasing?’ as well as more outrightly sexually charged bath-related scenes advisory) — both of which were found by some audiences as inappropriate for television.

Will update you more about this on November 10.
