(TV) Willie Revillame & Aiai Delas Alas’ new Shows: FLOP or WIN?

Willie Revillame and Aiai Delas Alas finally back on track, especially on ratings game as baptism of their respective decisions to transfer from one network to another.

Wowowin, Willie Revillame’s new show on GMA Network premiered last week and Aiai Delas Alas’ first project to GMA Network, Let The Love Begin enters primetime competition.

Wowowin registered a very impressive AGB Nielsen figure garnering a 20%+ in Mega Manila, a number that can’t be ignored by ABSCBN, its biggest competitior in town.

Even Gabby Lopez commented that he expected Willie Revillame shows to rate.

Wowowin (GMA-7) 22.1% while Kapamilya Mega Blockbusters: She’s the Dating the Gangster (ABS-CBN) only got 11.7%. PBA 2015 Governor’s Cup Game 1: Barako Bull vs Blackwater Elite from (TV5) recieves a 2.1% figure.
Meanwhile, Aiai Delas Alas’ first project in GMA Network enters primetime last May 4, 2015. Let The Love Begin, a remake from GMA Network’s old successful project fought for its slot in the ratings game. On Kantar Media’s nationwide release, it got only a 15% ratings compared to Enrique Gil and Liza Soberano’s forevermore which garnered a remarkable 33.2% almost double of Aiai’s series audience.
While in ABSCBN, Aiai Delas alas holds multiple Box Office records from the Tanging Ina series, including spin off projects like ang Cute Ng Ina Mo and other Star Cinema preojects. She hosted one of the highest rated reality shows Pilipinas Got Talent in all of its season, among other TV Projects. Earlier of this year, while she was being rumored to transfer to GMA Netowrk, her concert was cancelled as well blaming producers for miscommunication with the venue, money issues and the likes.

Aiai Delas Alas signed a super exclusive contract to the kapuso network after so many years in Kapamilya Network. Aiai’s decision to leave the largest broadcasting network paved way to talented and resident comedy icons in ABSCBN to be the next comedy queen. Perhaps Pokwang will be the best example.
