Seeking the truth, a homicide detective oversteps her boundaries in her unrelenting pursuit to solve TV’s most gruesome murders inJackCITY’s newest suspense-filled series Those Who Kill. The drama stars Academy Award-nominated and Golden Globe-winning actress Chloë Sevigny (Big Love, Boys Don’t Cry) and James D’Arcy (Hitchcock).
Based on the Danish crime series format inspired by the best-selling work of author Elsebeth Egholm, Those Who Kill starts March 6, Thursday at 9PM on JackCITY, airing just days after its initial U.S. telecast.
Sevigny stars as a newly promoted homicide detective named Catherine Jensen. Motivated by events of her past, including the disappearance of her brother and her rocky relationship with her stepfather, Catherine finds herself emotionally linked to the victims she’s helping.
In order to get a grip on her cases, Catherine enlists the help of Thomas Schaeffer (D’Arcy), a forensic psychologist with a turbulent relationship with the police department, to share his insights. Like Catherine, Thomas also finds himself deeply connected to each case as he tries to get inside the head of the killer—which proves to be a risky undertaking.
Due to their passion for solving the wrongs laid before them, the duo’s outlook is sometimes marred by their shared skewed sense of judgment. Watch as these two captivating yet flawed characters come together to take on a slew of shocking cases. Those Who Kill looks to be this year’s scorching new drama that you wouldn’t want to miss!
