(SPORTS) TV5 Is The Official Philippine Olympic Partner of SOCHI 2014 Winter Games!

What an spectacular opening ceremony last night (Philippine Time) of the Sochi 2014 Winter Olympic Games which aired live from Russia brought to us by TV5. together with fellow press friends and Sports and Olympic enthusiasts, we witnessed how wonderful Russia prepared for this year’s historical event. Well for starters, Russia has a rich Olympic history, ranging from some of the world’s most decorated Olympians to its capitol city, Moscow, hosting the 1980 Olympic Games. Russia was one of 12 countries that participated in the 1894 International Sports Congress in Paris, an event that triggered the first Modern Olympic Games in 1896. Russia’s General Alexei Butovsky was one of the founding members of the International Olympic Committee.
