FIRST on ROD MAGARU SHOW: I fulfilled my promise to executives and friends from STAR CINEMA not to divulge information about DARNA. Yes, Star Cinema because the main plan when ABSCBN bought the rights of this Mars Ravelo masterpiece is to film it.
I remember when I tweeted a month ago on my excitement about DARNA, my friend Carmi Raymundo texted me that she is currently working on its script. But then again, despite this blog doin a lot of breaking news of so many upcoming shows on TV and movie, decided to not say anything.
Until today, Star Cinema Managing Director Malou N. Santos interview with broadsheets appears on one of their entertainment section revealing the project so here it is! ITS OFFICIAL, ANGEL LOCSIN still the DARNA! STAR CINEMA Presents Mars Ravelo’s DARNA!
It was 2005 when Angel Locsin played Darna on television. This time, Star Cinema will making it big on the big screen. Who will be Ding?

sa totoo lang wala akong halong takot o pagdududa na baka ndi si angel locsin ung gumanap sa movie pero malakas ang pakiramdam ko na sa kanya tlaga ito ibbgay kasi sya lang tlga ung kayang mag potray ng role na pagiging isang pinay hero ang darna. sobrang saya sana si coco yung maging leading man nya rito ok na ok yun narda meet juan dela cruz hehehe pero infairness my chemistry sana mabasa o pakita ng press na my iba sa knila khit n ndi pa sila ngkaroon ng pagkakataon mgkatrabaho. si ding naman sa tingin ko c bugoy or si PJ yung batang piolo hehehe goodluck sa its showtime so proud of u nahahasa yung mga weaknesses mo gaya ng pag sayaw sana lagi kang sumayaw bagay n bgay sau sumayaw napakagalamour, ang galing lang at sexy heheehe at naiimprove yung strengths mo gaya ng pag kanta mo.. love you angel locsin <3

Hindi na siya para sa MMFF 2014, may iba ng entries ang Star Cinema. Kundi opening salvo siya sa 2015 ay sana during summer siya ipalabas para mapanuod ng mga bagets pati na ang elders. I’m sure panunuorin ito ni ateng balugs kahit hindi niya pinanunuod ang movies ni Marianing-aning at ibang Kapuso starlets. Go, go, go, Legit Royal Darna!
