(RADIO) Barangay LS 97.1 launches third wave of TugStugan Na! campaign


This 2013, Barangay LS  97.1, the FM station of leading broadcast company GMA Network, will be  unstoppable in bringing the latest music trends while spreading fun and laughter  with the third wave of the TugStugan Na! campaign.

 

“Just as many listeners were fascinated with our wide-ranging  programs last year, we are certain that Barangay LS will remain a favorite  source of entertainment across all demographics on FM radio this 2013,” said  Barangay LS Program Director Glenn Allona.

“Keeping this in mind, we are set to bring more of our ‘crazy fun’ segments and exciting features, and match, if not surpass, the things we  achieved in 2012 including the honor of being named Best FM Station at the  Yahoo! OMG Awards,” he added.

Just recently, Barangay LS brought home the award for Best FM Station  at the 2013 UPLB Gandingan Awards.

From sun up till sun down, Barangay LS brings its trademark ‘non-stop na TugStugan, non-stop pa sa  tawanan’’ to listeners from all over through its entertaining  programs and DJs.

Papa Tolits starts the day at 3:00 am with Hoy! Pinoy featuring the best OPM  selections spiced up with early morning interaction with listeners in  between.

From Monday to Saturday, 6:00 to 9:00 am, Papa Jepoy, Papa Bodjie,  Mama Cy and Chikotita engage in funny banters and exciting call-outs with  morning listeners via Potpot and Friends. 

In Radyo Nobela, Papa  Dudut and Ate Liza tackle stories by reading letters sent in by love struck  listeners. It airs Monday to Saturday from 9:00 am to 12:00 nn.

During lunchtime on weekdays, Sikat Sa Barangay with Mama Belle dishes  out today’s biggest hits, and features celebrities and artists as guest  co-hosts.

Meanwhile, Talk to Papa  with the funny tandem of Papa Kiko and Papa Obet also take in callers to give  advice on all sorts of topics. This go-to radio talk show for all  problem-stricken listeners airs Monday to Friday from 1:00 to 3:00 pm, and every  Saturday from 12:00 nn to 3:00 pm.

Playing the most requested songs from different genres is Three  Play  from Monday to Saturday, 3:00 to 9:00 pm. The show is anchored by  Papa Carlo and Papa Baldo.

Papa Dan’s Wanted  Sweetheart also remains a popular choice among listeners on its  timeslot. With a new approach at matchmaking, this show will surely stir  listeners’ imaginations and even challenge them to let down their guard Mondays  through Fridays, 9:00 pm to 12 mn.

Barangay Love Stories, Barangay Love Songs, The Big 10, Barangay  Idol and other weekend programs can also be heard all over Metro Manila  via Barangay LS 97.1.

In its newest set of TVCs, Barangay LS proves how it can turn any  ordinary moment into something extraordinary. Appearing in the TVCs are Kapuso  leading lady Louise delos Reyes,  Party Pilipinas’ hit pop group Down to  Mars, the comic duo of Maey  Bautista and Betong Sumaya,  Kapuso heartthrob Benjamin Alves,  and the widely popular love team of Julie Anne San Jose and Elmo Magalona.

The Barangay LS TVCs can already be seen on GMA 7, while the music  video will be launched on February 1  in 24 Oras. The LS jingle is sung by Julie Anne, Elmo and Down to Mars, who also  performed a dance number within the music video.
