I just returned from our Singapore holiday. And, while you’ve already loved all of my Instagram and Facebook posts about different places to visit in Singapore, I’d like to share my positive experience at the Aloft Singapore Novena Hotel.
The location is another plus. Aloft Novena is located on the edge of the lively Novena district, providing convenient access to restaurants, cafes, and shopping complexes. The neighboring MRT station quickly connects you to the rest of the city, making it a great starting point for discovering everything Singapore has to offer. Also there’s a shuttle going to the Novena Mall which we availed in the evening. You may have to check the shuttle schedule at front desk.
We arrived at the Aloft Singapore Novena in the afternoon and I can say that it was a busy lobby yet everyone is very energetic and alert when guests checked in. Oh, by the way, Aloft Hotels is part of Marriott Bonvoy’s portfolio of 31 extraordinary hotel brands. And just recently, they announced the brand’s entry into Singapore with Hiap Hoe Limited for the opening of the Aloft Singapore Novena, which serves as the largest Aloft hotel in the world.
Aloft Singapore Novena is more than just a hotel; it’s a thriving hub for modern travelers. Its sleek, contemporary design sets the tone from the moment you enter the bustling lobby, where bright flashes of color and whimsical artwork reflect the hotel’s youthful attitude. Located in the cultural neighbourhood of Balestier, the world’s largest Aloft hotel introduces vibrant and flexible spaces for travellers to connect with the destination.
The rooms are well-designed, maximizing space with innovative modular furniture and hidden storage. Floor-to-ceiling windows flood the space with natural light, revealing glimpses of the city’s activity beneath. While some may find the minimalist decor too stark, it is undeniably utilitarian and pleasant, with luxurious beds and pristine linens ensuring a good night’s sleep.
Aloft Singapore Novena comprises two accommodation towers. Breezy Rooms are located in the East Wing, located at No. 1 Jalan Rajah, Singapore 329133. Urban Rooms and 1-Bedroom Suites are located at West Wing, located at 16 Ah Hood Road Singapore, 329982.

I had a great night sleep and very recharged to go on long walks again.
Another room type, twin size bed.

KKS International designed the Aloft Singapore Novena, which follows a “different by design” philosophy. This philosophy values personality and a passion for music. The hotel’s entrance features a beautiful 2.5-meter crescendo sculpture inspired by musical notes.
The real star of the show is the hotel’s social atmosphere. The W XYZ bar pulsates with life in the evenings, offering creative cocktails and a buzzing soundtrack that spills out onto the pool deck. We were very lucky to have a taste of their signature drinks as they welcomed us in the lobby.
The rooftop pool itself is a hidden gem, a serene escape from the city’s hustle with stunning views of the skyline. Whether you’re soaking up the sun or mingling with fellow travelers, it’s an ideal spot to unwind and recharge.
Additional facilities include the 24/7 Re:charge indoor and outdoor gym in the West Wing, along with the Re:charge indoor gym in the East Wing. Located adjacent to the indoor and outdoor gyms is the hotel’s splash pool, where guests can relax and socialize on the open deck.
Aloft’s Re:fuel enables customers on the go with Grab-and-go options for flavorful light meals and drinks are available 24 hours a day, seven days a week.
Dining options at Aloft Singapore Novena include a modern Chinese and local seafood restaurant and a Halal-certified buffet restaurant.
Aloft Singapore Novena launches its first-and-only, music-inspired Chinese restaurant, Yuè (乐).
Located in the world’s largest Aloft hotel at Zhongshan Park, Yuè provides an exceptional culinary experience that combines traditional Chinese cuisine with a contemporary twist, delighting music lovers, gourmands, and connoisseurs alike.
A range of delicious cuisine from Yuè’s Lunch Menu featuring Abalone and Homemade Chicken Balls Congee ($20, centre), 500g Lobster Rice in Broth ($88, upper left), Charcoal Noodles with Luncheon Meat and Fried Egg ($10, bottom left), and a variety of dimsum (from $6, right).
While the hotel’s focus on self-service kiosks and limited room service might not appeal to everyone, those looking for a tech-savvy and social experience will find it refreshing. Overall, I am happy with our accommodation at the Aloft Hotel. Aloft Novena Singapore is a perfect choice for young travelers or business nomads seeking a stylish, affordable, and conveniently located oasis in the heart of the city. It’s not your typical luxury hotel, but its dynamic energy, smart architecture, and ideal location make it an appealing choice for anyone seeking a modern and social experience.
I’m definitely going back. Thank you, Aloft Singapore Novena, for your kind greeting! Keep it up! For more information, kindly visit this link: Aloft Singapore Novena.
