ABS-CBN got the rights to air F4 Thailand: Boys Over Flowers after the network acquired the title along with other four GMMTV-produced programs for 2021.

The series was first announced during GMMTV “New & Next” event last October 2019.
Early this year, the phenomenal Meteor Garden celebrated its 18th year anniversary.
