Back in the days my Mom would always play solitaire at night and as a curious kid I have learned to play it faster. Thanks to the previous work of my Dad, a casino-like company in Manila and the reason why he brought a lot of deck of cards at home. Up until this day, Solitaire has been one of the habits that is hard to break. Thanks to my friends in Warner Bros for sending this all black cards for my personal consumption.
As a content creator, my routine at home would be like waking up, breakfast and then open my laptop for work and as suggested, we need to take a break from time to time. And ofcourse, I cannot always lay my cards to play my favorite solitaire every time I want to play.
Good thing our favorite classic solitaire can be played anywhere. I glanced upon https://www.solitaire.org/ and found myself getting comfortable with the game. As the site suggest, this might be the most dedicate site to enjoy solitaire, no matter what kind it is.
For starters, solitaire.org offers a different kind of solitaire game where you can try almost anything. The site does not only provides you option to play different games but it is complete with instruction, goals and what have you about the game. Ofcourse the classic will always be our favorites but actually there was one thing I love playing when I was young and that was the Pyramid solitaire wherein you have to eliminate 2 cards that has a total sum of 13.
Pyramid Solitaire differs from Classic Solitaire in that the cards are arranged in a pyramid layout. The object of the game is to remove pairs of cards that add up to a total of thirteen from a pyramid arrangement of twenty eight cards. Don’t worry when you play this on site, you will be reminded of the goal of the game.
Having said that, you can actually play this with your colleague because there is this fair scoring about almost everything. And did I mention that you can actually access the site while playing the game through its standalone web application. Either way, both are ads-free which is why I chose this site. So here I am, putting solitaire.org on my favorite folder to browse. Can make use of some solitaire during traffic.
Actually the best tip I can give you guys is when you’re trying to sleep but you cannot. How about a little brain exercise with the classic solitaire and beat your own score. As I have mentioned, you can play it on your smartphone so it is very convenient to keep it handy when you need it, especially when trying to call your night in bed. (like me lately).
Funny is that I didn’t realized I can flip my own horizontally to fully enjoy it. Yes you can do that 🙂
Another interesting stuff about Solitaire.Org is that I was able to learn the history of solitaire. What a well-explained origin. No wonder why everyone is glued to the game since pre-historic era.
On the other hand, I found some interesting games on the site including Candy House, which is like the old bejeweled but more colorful and easier to navigate. The goal is to swap 2 items to match 3 or more of the same items in a vertical column or horizontal row. Easy Peasy!
Solitaire.Org indeed is not easy to load, user-friendly site for our favorite hobbies and this week what I’m gonna try are the word games, and arcade which are equally interesting on the site.
