This is actually one of the updates I’ve been waiting for realme and glad that it finally arrived. The brand’s latest innovation is ready to enter and disrupt the laptop category: the realme Book!
During the media launch early this month, I sensed that they’re launching just a new phone but didn’t expect to introduce the arrival of realme book. It was indeed a timely announcement because (while I have yet to share you the price or this realme Book on a later part of this blog), this is the most affordable yet sleek, powerful and dazzling laptop. I said affordable because in less than P30,000 this realme Book can be yours today, September 30! I’m not kidding!
Anyway, let’s take a look at the entire package of realme Book.
When I opened the box I feel like I am opening a Christmas gift. The white box reminds me of a popular brand and I am actually admiring how it joins the rank of the laptop with an impressive nano-edge design. The realme Book has a narrow bezel of 5.3mm and a 90% screen-to-body ratio. This is way more inviting than other laptops. Oh by the way, the realme Book will be available in two colors: Real Silver and Real Blue, and in Core i3 and Core i5 variants.
There’s a pre-installed windows 10 already which you can upgrade to windows 11 for FREE. Here I am talking with sexy Cortana setting up my security settings.
As realme is know for launching an impressive charging system, this realme Book is powered by a 65W Super-Fast Charge technology. The realme Book charges up to 50% in only 30 minutes, This 65W charger is also compatible with the 30W Dart Charge technology. Yes to this! I am going to share my full review nextweek and test this battery supremacy of this one.
If I may add, it has a 54Wh large battery. In the simulated office test, realme Book excelled with a super long endurance of 8.5 hours per charge – and that’s plenty enough for a regular workday at the office!
Color & Display. After finishing the set-up, I immediately played a video to check its resolution. This one has a resolution of 2160 x 1440. It boost 100% sRGB color gamut screens. The realme Book has 1.5 times the pixel count of a typical 1080p screen for an unbelievably clear display. The realme Book also boasts that are more saturated and more colorful than typical screens to display. In addition, the highest brightness of realme Book is 400 nits, 33% brighter than typical laptops.
I think its true! I have yet to test its audio but glad to know that the realme Book features 2 HARMAN speakers, which support DTS HD stereo sound effect.
I may repeatedly emphasized my bias in my past reviews about type-C connection but I will say this again, I am glad that realme book is very updated with the needs of using a type-C charging port while also providing the typical USB cable port and 3.5mm audio jack.
I cannot reiterate enough how this realme book is one of the good options for everyone given that it has 14.9mm slim and lightweight design comparable with slim laptops in the market today but with an accessible price tag. Im looking at two different laptops below but design-wise the realme Book is looking dazzling & sleek af!
