Unleash Your Productivity In The All-New ASUS Zenbook 14 (UX425EA) w/ QHD Display

If there’s one advise I can give to everyone who probably mastered working from home by now is to invest in a good working laptop. I have noticed some of my friends crowd sourcing for a good laptop computer in the middle of the year because they initially bought something inexpensive thinking that it had a good value for money but didn’t last long. Actually glad to know they have been reading my previous laptop reviews for tips. Here I am with previous ASUS VivoBook 14.

As I was able to check some good laptop releases this year, I wanted to share with you an update about some new releases this quarter that is ideal for everyone’s upgrade. I mean the arrival of an amazing laptop that is the world’s thinnest 14-inch with Quad High-Definition (QHD) Display in the market. I am talking about the all-new ASUS Zenbook 14 (UX425EA)!

You have probably seen my feature about previous ASUS Zenbook and Vivobook series and you guys know I am a sucker for screen display given that aside from creating a content or doin my excel, I am always watching streaming platform. And since I don’t want to install TV on my bedroom, I better have a good working laptop with me to continue my streams.

Luckily, this new ASUS Zenbook 14 is equipped with 2.8K resolution QHD Display. It has 1.7 times more pixels than the FHD panels, the all-new ZenBook 14 delivers smooth picture and video quality of up to 300 nits of brightness. Recently I enjoyed some of the episodes of the latest Netflix thrill, Squid Game where colors are more vibrant, making still and moving images brighter and more alive.

Known for its stunning design and portability, the all-new ASUS ZenBook 14 now comes in an incredible 2.8K resolution (2560 x 1440) QHD Display – making still and moving images brighter and more alive. With 1.7 times more pixels than the FHD panels, the all-new ZenBook 14 delivers smooth picture and video quality of up to 300 nits of brightness. Moreover, the all-new ZenBook 14 has a 90% screen-to-body ratio which is consistent with the recent releases of ASUS this year.

As you know I watch cartoons when testing pixels of any screen but the Squid Game series is very colorful, in fact has cinematographically eye-candy scenes (though some were gory) but enough to agree how ASUS invested heavily on its Intel Iris Xe Graphics. And also they made QHD display more power-efficient, so the battery life is not compromised. Speaking of battery, this Zenbook 14 has up to 67Wh lithium-polymer battery & up to 15 hr battery life!

Before I go to other details, let me tell you I can’t help but admire how sleek its over all design. The image below shows an elegant all-metal chassis putting sleekness in portability.

Specs says it is around 13.9mm thin but feels like lesser because it is very light. This is perfect for those usually on the go and prefer bringing work wherever they go like coffee shops even vacation. ASUS is very  consistent with its classy laptop look series even from the start.

In terms of ports, my usual requirements now of course are type-C and HDMI Port and good to know that the all-new Zenbook 14 is pack with necessity. It has full-size HDMI and USB Type-A ports, two high-speed Thunderbolt 4 USB-C ports, and a microSD card reader for easy mobile data transfer.

We all love fast charging ports right? Because the two Thunderbolt 4 USB-C ports of this Zenbook 14 support fast charging, up to two 4K UHD external displays for an expanded visual workspace. This is what I need for my extended monitor. I liked how they invested more USB-C ports than the usual type A because most of the gadgets now are inclined to use Type C.

I wanted to segue my next favorite feature about this all-new Zenbook 14. Notice the photo above? I mean how it tilted wonderfully to cater ergonomically wise typing experience. This also provides an extra cooling airflow under the laptop. Also, I cant help but appreciate elevated keyboard.

Previously, ASUS introduced an impressive Number Pad with their Zenbook and VivoBook series and glad to know that it has now an upgraded version (NumberPad 2.0) with ASUS Zenbook 14. For starters, it is a dual-function touchpad with an integrated LED-illuminated full-size numeric keypad.

As we are heavy now with zoom meetings, most of us are investing on earpods and headphones with noise cancellations. This Zenbook 14 has impressive AI-trained noise cancelling technology. As outside noise always been my problem, this ASUS ClearVoice Mic is a good “must have” for my daily work.

I was able to test its audio during my break yesterday playing my Spotify playlist because I am interested with its ASUS SonicMaster stereo audio system with surround-sound. As certified by Harman Kardon, its audio has a smart amplifier for maximum audio performance.

Oh by the way, I like its infrared IR webcam because it also supports Windows Hello. No need to buy added webcam. Its a total package especially when you are heavy on meetings making you more productive than before.

Also completing the experience for our productivity is of course a trusted Professional Windows package. The all-new ASUS ZenBook 14 UX425EA comes pre-installed with genuine Windows and Office Home & Student 2019. Its pre installed windows 10 can be upgraded to Windows 11 for FREE!

Over all, this 14-inch laptop is winning in all its specs particularly on how I got mesmerized with its QHD Display. It’s like bringing your own enhanced Full HD smart TV in its compact stylish Zenbook.
