It’s been awhile since I got hold of a Note series android phone and from that experience, much have been improved and enhanced. From time to time I get to see Note series unfold in the market yearly but I didn’t expect that Note can be as innovative as now. Case in point my encounter to this impressive Infinix Note 7, a smartphone with stunning specs which is something we are going to focus in today’s story. I get the chance to use Infinix Note 7 as my main phone for a week now and I can’t get enough of this –in fact, it had its first landing on my face late last night when I’m trying to win in the Call of duty game LOL. The phone might be telling me something -SLEEP Rod!
Ok first thing is that I didn’t expect Infinix Note 7 to be this big. From the box itself, I judged that it’ll be a gift for all the gamers and horizontal users given that it is 6.95 inches in size and impressive screen-to-body ratio of above 90%. It is massive!
Infinix Note 7 comes in three different colors: Forest Green, Aether Black and Bolivia Blue. Aether what? I’m already sold to this mesmerizing green phone!
So the first specs I tested in this Infinix Note 7 is the camera. This is very important not only for bloggers but for everyone in general because smartphones are now considered an all-purpose gadget. But as a lifestyle bloggers who defend on camera settings, this will pass as must-have!
For starters, these are the camera specs:
Main Camera: 48 MP, f/1.8 –Quad-LED flash, panorama and HDR feature.
Selfie Cam: 16 MP, f/2.0, 26mm (wide), 1.0µm.
One thing I like about its exterior is how they placed the camera at the center of the phone. It adds classy to its design element. Though with its texture and glossy finish, my fingerprints are everywhere haha. I have to clear it from time to time. No sweat.
This series comes with an 18-watt super fast charge via the micro USB Port. While I know that Type-C could have been a better option, micro USB remains the familiar and popular ports being use worldwide. And this 18 watts super fast charge should not be ignored! This is God tier among the fast charging specs in any phones even the popular ones will agree!
Oh by the way, I am happy that the unit includes earphones! Something that most of the brands are removing from their boxes.
To complete the unboxing, the unit surprised me with a jelly case (which is a must-have once you start using it) and a screen protector. It means from its price range, this is indeed the best budget phone you’ll have on the market. You are all set!
As I have mentioned, the screen-to-body ratio is above 90% and you’ll see the display with an impressive PS LCD capacitive touchscreen, 16M colors.
I looked at the settings and found out that Dolphin. 6.0 is now updated to 6.1 version. Also, Infinix Note 7 is using the latest Android 10 version with Octa-core CPU (2×2.0 GHz Cortex-A75 & 6×1.7 GHz Cortex-A55) and a Mediatek Helio G70 chipset.

Other than Octa-core CPU phone enabled, I love its helio G70 chipset because it means the phone is really dedicated for mobile gamers. This is the reason why I downloaded Call of Duty haha as this phone is very capable of hosting games such as this! Don’t wanna be too technical about it but it simply means a smooth gaming experience for everyone!
And I can’t believe I am going to like this game! A couple of months ago (or should I say pre-pandemic) we had our staycation with blogger friends and they were playing this game and I was a total stranger and ended up playing just Candy Crush LOL. Now I understand why they are very enthusiastic and competitive about it. For sure the added factor for me was its screen size and the chipset. Anyone playing this? I am so ready for y’all.
Another reason to love about Infinix Note 7 is its fingerprint sensor mounted on the side of the sleek phone. It is definitely a good decision as it didn’t intrude the design at the back.
And before I forgot, Infinix Note 7 are ready for long lasting experience with its 5000 mAh Li-Po battery. I was able to join one of the press launches via zoom without charging the phone. After my meeting, I got to watch one movie for almost two hours without interruption! And I haven’t charge the phone for more than a day.

Before I show you all my camera test shots below, Infinix Note 7 is a wise decision to have. Priced at P7,990, you’ll get all you want to have from an android phone. To be honest, I am not really particular with a brand but it there’s something on the market that will give us this size, this CPU and G70 chipset plus that amazing 5,000 mAh and a fast charging port then I suggest you get this phone as a gift to yourself. When I use this during zoom, I was able to clearly see presentations and participants well.
My verdict, it’ll be the choice of smartphone for anything below P8,000. Good job Infinix Note 7!
TEST SHOTS.
So I went to grocery and brought my Infinix Note 7 to Waltermart. While the guard is not forgiving (he kept chasing me LOL), I was able to capture and play with colors using its macro lens and I am forever be a fan of bokeh effect.
I tried the 48MP as well and this photo below can be zoomed up to the Waltermart wall and still provide quality pixel!
