Let me introduce you to my new favorite, Realme’s C1. For starters, I am talking about the arrival of Realme in the market. They’re first unit is an stylish and trendy that you almost want to purchase more for your family. Let me give you a background.
As a lifestyle blogger, one of the things I am worried always when I go out for a shoot or attending events is if the battery life of my smartphone. Other than I use it as my camera to capture memories and happenings, I use my smartphone as my main source of music. First, here are the basic specification of the Realme’s C1.

First impression with the phone is its battery life. I am a big fan of those brands who invest on making their battery performance extra. With a 4,230mAh ultra large capacity together with an AI Power Master, one can definitely enjoy the phone for an extra longer time. OH by the way the system can intelligently optimize power consumption of apps and control the number of processor cores to avoid power waste.
Aside from the Battery life, Realme C1 has a 2GB RAM + 16GB ROM, up to 256GB extended memory. As I am using this for the past days, I like how the file manager helped me understand the content and storage availability of this phone. What made this phone extra useful is that it support 2+1 card slots. Compare to other smartphones, it has dual Nano and a separate Micro SD slot for it.
Considering that C1 is priced at P5,990, the 6.2-inch large notch screen is already a bonus for its consumers. The 88.8% screen-to-body ratio and 19:9 screen display are realized, which are ultra-high among peer products. The phone has a more compact layout of the three major components–the receiver, front camera and light sensor, as well as 2.05mm ultra-narrow bezel. The upgraded dispensing process further narrows the bezel by 16%. The screen is made of abrasion-resistant third-generation Corning Gorilla glass.
The latest, most-trendy large notch screen offers a wider visual field, immersive visual experience in playing games and watching videos, and a more vivid feeling of the content.
I tried the screenshot feature of the phone and same with other great brands, all you have to do is to swipe down with your three fingers or press the Volume Down button + power button, then the user can drag four corners or four edges of a screenshot picture to perform quick rectangular edit.
Last week, I attended an art exhibit and brought this C1 with me to use as my main camera. It didn’t disappoint! I am impressed with the accuracy of its white balance.
Oh by the way, I like its “Smart Driving” function. As I love playing music through my phone, Realme’s system smartly senses that I am driving by detecting that the Bluetooth car kit is connected. When Smart Driving is on, the mobile phone supports Do Not Disturb from calls, app videos/voices to reduce disturbance from messages and improve driving safety.
Realme C1 is available in two colors——Mirror Black and Navy Blue. Mirror Black is low-key and restrained, harbors tranquility, and manifests elegance; Navy Blue is vigorous, dazzling, and serene like the sea under sunshine. Both colorways flow in a tempting way under lighting, showing dynamically varying effects. All I can say now is that, Realme Philippines is indeed the newest game changer smartphone brand in the Philippines.
