(LIFESTYLE) First Look at Newly Opened Savoy Hotel Manila in Newport City

True to its commitment to innovation, creativity and excellence, Megaworld Corporation closed the first half of 2018 by opening Savoy Hotel Manila, its second hotel under its homegrown Savoy brand. I was excited to finally see this new Savoy Brand because as we all know, Savoy Hotel in Boracay Newcoast is a work of art and innovation.

It looks like the future is very bright for a Savoy Brand. As Savoy Hotel in Boracay opened last year, another Savoy Hotel is also expected to open in Mactan Newtown next year.

Okay let’s see the rooms first. Savoy Hotel Manila has the most basic standard rooms (Essentials) to comfortable executive suites (The Runway, The Space, and The Deck), all rooms which has an adequate sizes ranging from 23 to 27 square meters.

And did I mention if has an overwhelming, breathtaking view of Manila from all sides?

Savoy Hotel is located at the most convenient locations for all travelers. Imagine waking up to the sight of a plane coming and leaving Manila, Savoy Hotel Manila is situated right across the Ninoy Aquino International Airport Terminal 3, the new ‘airport hotel’ highlights the luxurious comforts that business and leisure travelers look for in a home away from home.

This 12-storey hotel within the 25-hectare Newport City in Pasay City welcome travelers and staycationers alike who are looking for a much-deserved respite in the middle of the bustling city.

One thing I liked about Savoy Hotel Manila is the creation of themed space called The Squares! These co-working spaces is equipped with high-speed Internet connection and electricity ports, as well as books, express checkout counters, and a snack corner.

Savoy Hotel Manila also has three Food and Beverage (F&B) outlets: the Savoy Café where guests can experience buffet dining featuring Asian and Western cuisines;

Zabana Bar for lounging over cocktails and drinks; and The Poolside for after-swim chill and indulgence.

And of course, something I always look forward to when I choose hotels to stay on my travels, a gym.

The hotel also has the Connect Lounge, a club lounge exclusively for guests staying in the executive suite rooms. The lounge serves as an extension of Savoy Café where club guests can have breakfast and snacks, complete with facilities for work or for relaxation.
