(FOODIE) SM Hypermarket Street Food Festival is Back! Roadshows til October!

Last August 23, I rushed to the SM Mall of Asia Music Hall to witness the grand launch of one of my favorite events in SM. It is the SM Hypermarket Street Food Festival! So I arrived early and found my friend Gus also waiting for an exciting day to start. I believe this year is different because SM Hypermarket’s Street Food Festival is back with more yummy treats and food stalls, even more amazing discounts, must-have promo packs, irresistible prizes and spectacular celebrity guests than ever before. First stop I found my two favorites walking around the venue, meet SPAM and SKIPPY!

This craving started with an invitation I received last week. Since I got cheesy with a special invitation, I draw a hugot inspiration from Nestle’s All-Purpose Cream.

Daig ko pa ang all purpose cream sa pagmu-multitas” – Hugot Inspired by Nestle’s All-Purpose Cream

You guys know we’ve been instagramming food from famous restos in town, even did a lot of restaurant hopping to check what is new in the metro but the thing is, no matter how many restaurants or food parks sprout, Pinoys will always go back home to local street food. Philippine street food is custom built for Filipinos; it’s flavorful, filling, and affordable. With just a few coins, Pinoys can satisfy their tummy rumblings without having to sacrifice flavor and volume.

So my friend Ruth and Gus did a lot of eating this time because the venue is full of delicious food. I remember buying so much for take out because SM Hypermarket brought together the country’s top brands like Unilever, Nestle, San Miguel, CDO, Alaska, Century, Del Monte, Bounty Fresh, Farm Fresh, P&G, Delimondo, Monde, Selecta Ice Cream , Federated, Arcy, Madison, Sysu, Sunnywood, Sanicare, and Lamoiyan to bring out the flavors every street food lover is craving for. Certified delicious food places including SM Eats, along with event partners, also occupied over 50 stalls to serve local favorites and international flavors.

In the afternoon, new Box Office King Empoy from the success of Kita Kita movie also joined the crowd. Too bad I missed it.

Here I am with Jonel and Marjorie Uy from #Seatsfortwo and my usual accomplice Ruth and Gus!

Don’t worry if you guys missed the launch last August 23 because it will be a series of shows from different places! Catch its appetizing road shows at SM City Clark on September 1-3, SM Center Muntinlupa on September 15-17, SM City Fairview on October 6-8, and the delectable grand finale on October 20 at SM Mall of Asia.
