So I finally got the chance to secure a real LuMee Duo Case! The talk of the town selfie case lately and is slaying the internet due to its simple existence! Initially I have some reservations about the item as I already have other smartphone with a powerful selfie capabilities.
Beyond the Box, one of my favorite places on earth and the country’s premiere carriers and retailers of gadgets and accessories made sure LuMee cases are available (unless it doubles the demand) but lucky to have a unit!
This LuMee Duo case looks like mirror in a dressing room filled with bright lights for me. I think I like how they designed it. From its bright and warm LEDs lining the front of the case through its almost see through rubber, LuMee Duo also has crystal lights at the back, (Hence the Duo).
For those not aware of the LuMee case, App Mogul Kim Kardashian popularized its existence. She was able to design early LuMee cases (some in marbles) and the rest was history. Many of you were wondering what app was she using when taking her selfies and she surprised the universe with the LuMee case. Now I (we!!) can finally say that we can rub elbows with Kim as we can also have this unit thru Beyond The Box.
Good thing about the Lumee Duo case is that you can still control the amount of light you want on your selfies. For instance, if you want to dim a little when you turn it on, all you need to do is hold the button at the back and control the desired brightness you want.
Don’t worry if you ran out of lights, LuMee Duo can be charged in no time. I remember I only charge it once two weeks from the time I had the case.
My verdict: 9/10 STARS! I like everything about it except for the thick-grip feel but upon using it for over a week, I get to love the case and everyone is like staring on it. I can even use it on different purpose say, use a flash light when Im trying to find something under the car seat or when I needed to find something on a dark room. It really does give a huge difference compare to an ordinary selfies when you use it.
