Just one month after its nationwide premiere, the “Isang Pamilya Tayo Ngayong PaskoChristmas station ID of ABS-CBN has already passed the two million views mark on YouTube, as Filipinos continue to count the days to their favorite time of the year.

Featuring the Kapamilya Network’s top executives, artists, journalists, and loveteams, the music video focuses on the inspiring stories of Filipinos who have risen above challenging situations and have shown how love for their family and faith in God have kept them hopeful and strong.abs-cbn-christmas-station-id-breaches-2m-views-mark-in-youtube

They include a third grade student who walks for seven kilometers to school, a swimming instructor that overcame his disability to win gold at the 7th ASEAN Para Games, a security guard who studied to become a lawyer, survivors of Typhoon Yolanda, young scholars, former delinquents-turned-volunteers, and 2016 Olympic Silver Medalist Hidilyn Diaz.

 

They were seen interacting and sharing their stories to the likes of ABS-CBN chief content officer, executive adviser to the chairman, and ABS-CBN University president Charo Santos-Concio, Vice Ganda, John Lloyd Cruz, Piolo Pascual, Ted Failon, Bernadette Sembrano, Noli De Castro, Kapamilya loveteams Kathryn Bernardo and Daniel Padilla and James Reid and Nadine Lustre, and Enrique Gil and Liza Soberano, along with artists from different Kapamilya shows.kathniel-hosted-a-surprise-christmas-party-for-kids

The station ID was launched nationwide last November 7 in simultaneous events in the ABS-CBN compound, at the Immaculate Conception Cathedral of Cubao, as well as in Baguio, Tacloban, and Cagayan De Oro while the hashtag #IsangPamilyaTayo also trended worldwide as people anticipated, watched, and reacted to the inspiring and heartwarming moments in the video.

The recording video for the station ID, featuring “The Voice Kids Philippines” coaches Lea Salonga, Sarah Geronimo, Bamboo, and Sharon Cuneta and finalists from “The Voice Kids” in the past seasons Joshua Oliveros, Lyca Gairanod, Elha Nympha, and Antonnethe Tismo also has over 3 million views on Youtube.

ABS-CBN Creative Communications Management head Robert Labayen and Lloyd Oliver Corpuz wrote the lyrics of the song with music by Thyro Alfaro & Yumi Lacsamana. As with the previous ABS-CBN station IDs, Labayen led the creation of the video with Johnny Delos Santos and Patrick de Leon, directors Paolo Ramos and Peewee Azarcon Gonzales and the ABS-CBN Creative Communications Management division.

ABS-CBN station IDs have become a much-anticipated tradition for Kapamilyas. Recently, the 2015 Christmas station ID “Thank You For The Love” was also nominated as one of the “Most Popular Video of the Philippines,” joining other viral videos vying for the honors in the 2016 WebTVAsia Awards.
