Earlier this month, I got the chance to visit ABSCBN and heard the news from the grapevine about this huge network transfer. I tweeted what I have gathered to inform the public about the upcoming switch.

Contrary to the rumors, its not Jennylyn Mercado, Yassi Pressman, Rhian Ramos, Jasmine Curtis or Maine Mendoza. Today, Kapamilya network welcomes Ritz Azul as official kapamilya and to sign one of the biggest network contracts in the history of Philippine TV. She will be welcomed today by ABSCBN Executives on the contract signing.

Ritz Azul is a product of Kapatid Network’s artista search, STAR FACTOR where she ended as the 4th final star. From then on she did various projects with her network such as Pidol’s wonderland with King of comedy Dolphy, Glamorosa, Regal Shocker series, Kidlat and LokoMoko. She also appeared in some of GMA Network’s Maynila series and presently accepted a role in Ismol Family as Aya with Ryan Agoncillo and Carla Abellana.
Azul will be co-managed by Star Magic and her father Richard Azul (second from the right). A guesting in “FPJ’s Ang Probinsyano” will be the first among her upcoming projects to be handled by Dreamscape. Present in the signing were ABS-CBN president and chief executive officer Carlo Katigbak, chief operating officer for Broadcast Cory Vidanes, TV Production head Laurenti Dyogi, Star Magic consultant Johnny Manahan, business unit head for Dreamscape Deo Endrinal, and Ritz Azul’s father Richard Azul.
She is consistently in the list of FHM’s sexiest woman since 2013. I’m sure there’s a lot of good opportunities waiting for Ritz as she will get to work with prominent ABSCBN Stars such as Piolo Pascual, John Lloyd Cruz, Bea Alonzo, Angelica Panganiban, to name a few.
