(FOOD) Buddha Bar Manila Introduces New Menu, Feast for The Palate!

Last week I got the chance to visit my neighbor bar, Buddha-Bar Manila and tried their new menu offerings. Located beside the newly opened Century Mall in kalayaan Ave, Makati, BUDDHA BAR MANILA transforms into a glamorous gastronomic hot spot after launching their new menu with us– selected Foodie Bloggers.

We were welcomed by its new Head of Operations, Vicente Antonio Rodrigo. As a way of good introduction and making a great first impression, Mr. Rodrigo invited several bloggers and foodies to have a taste of their new dishes.

A combination of freshly conceived dishes and revitalized classics, Buddha-Bar Manila’s New Menu for 2015 is a feast for the palate as well as the eyes, made even more enticing by the restaurant-bar-lounge’s distinct music and luxurious ambiance. At the Buddha-Bar Manila New Menu for 2015 launch, the metro’s most sophisticated restaurant-bar-lounge will be filled with heavenly aromas, exotic sounds, soothing ambiance, and the sheer joy that fine food and drinks brings.

So here are the sumptuous offerings we all tried before our food coma in that afternoon. Forgive me on chronological order as I tasted several items on almost at the same time.

SASHIMI. MY dad loves Sashimi and I will recommend this to him.

We were asked on what to drink that afternoon. So to start the afternoon strong, I ordered their Kawai Ylang vanilla infused vodka drink with Ylang Ylang oil in honey and fresh watermelon and the simple and yet timeless Mojito.

We also tried their Chocolate Fever and cool cheesecakes. The sumptuous spread is best capped with Buddha-Bar Manila’s array of must-love desserts: Anmitsu – Japanese Shaved Ice Dessert, the Japanese version of the well-loved halo-halo; the sinfully delicious Classic Vanilla Crème Brulee; and a unique BBM confection called Fever – Chocolate Bombe spiced with Chili.
