Music Industry, are you ready for this? Star Magic artist, chinita & primetime princess Kim Chiu just reached a Gold & Platinum Record Awards today at ASAP for her album, CHINITA PRINCESS.
This happened in around 60 days since her album was launched by Star Music.

Lets go back to her album tracks before. She launched her debut album “Gwa Ai Di” (I Love You) under Star Records, this includes her popular single Crazy Love. The album received Gold Record status. She was also part of the Meteor Garden album which has a GOLD Record status as well.
A GOLD & PLATINUM Status is measured by PARI, Philippine Association of the Record Industry. This album certifications includes physical and online sales. Here are the guide to know if an artist/album reaches a certain status since March 2012:
GOLD – 7,500 units sold.
PLATINUM – 15,000 units sold
PLATINUM – 150,000 units sold
