Recently, GLOBE Telecom announces another revolutionary upgrade on how one should get a postpaid plan. I have been a Globe Postpaid user since 2005 and this year I am celebrating my decade of fun, enjoyable phone plans with them. But this year, they surprised me by introducing the newest and much applicable, simple and practical options for all of us! The new The new Globe MyLifestyle Plan!
At first I was hesitant to check what is this MyLifestyle Plan thinking this might be another regrouping and reorganization of plan bundles but I was so totally wrong. The Globe MyLifestyle Plan is designed to cater the needs of its consumer based on the kind of lifestyle one has!
It is really easy and simple. It covers the basics of course the base plan is P499 per month, which is the unlimited calls and texts. From the 499 basic per month, you can actually have a free phone of your choice based on the available market offerings.
After the 499 above, it is time for you to choose your preferred lifestyle pack. Below is an option for you to choose from.
The Globe MyLifestyle Plan is then introduced to you in which you may opt to add either a bundle and a lifestyle pack. This is very straightforward, no need to compute for peso values like the one we did before. Just add what you think you need and want! And the more you choose bundles and pack, the higher the value of smartphones you get! Amen! After this
For example, I am the type of user who’s very active on social media, so I will add Social pack under MyLifestyle pack. It includes
- Navigation bundle (MMDA, Accuweather, Google Maps, Grab Taxi, Waze)
- Work bundle (Gmail, Evernote, Yahoo Mail, Globe Storage)
- Shopping bundle (Amazon, Ayos Dito, eBay, OLX, Zalora)
- Chat bundle (Viber, FB Messenger, Kakao Talk, Line, WeChat, WhatsApp)
- Photo bundle (Instagram, Photo Grid, Photo Repost, InstaSize)
so Now I am choosing the following:
chat for P99
Facebook for P199
Twitter for P199
And since I am also the kind of user who browses too much, I will also add the GoSURF under the SURF PACKS, I will choose 3GB so that is the GoSURF 799. Also in addition, GoSURF comes with free Spotify and NBA League Pass.
In total, my plan would be P499 + P99 + P199 + P199 + 799 = P1,795.00
=================
Now Im sure your next question would be, what will be the available handset for you should you choose the plan P1,795.00? GLOBE has a solution for you. Choose your device. The devices are tiered according to the amount of add-ons you get. The more you add to your plan, the better handset! It can also be the other way around.
Below is a table of options related to handset that you can get for FREE if your plan reach a certain amount.
In my example above, my plan is P1,795 so I am on the DEVICE C bundle which is MSF 1,499.00 and UP. In this bracket, there are two phones available that you can choose, the LG G3 Stylus or The Samsung Galaxy Grand 2!
That’s it! So Easy to understand. You can leave your comment below should you need more information. See? The more you add to your plan, the better handset you get!
My Best Ever Super Plan still is the Best Plan for me! Currently I already have a Samsung S4, which means I don’t currently need to change my phone. I also have and extra phone for my Sun Cellular with trinet, meaning I have unlimited text to Smart, TnT and Sun. So currentlu in my S4 I do have Globe Plan 300 with 1.5GB Internet monthly. I can use it for Facebook, Viber, Internet, Google Maps, and others. So basically, I have Plan 300 with Globe and Plan 350 in Sun with a total of P650 monthly. Satisfied and connected! If I need to download videos or big games from the play store, I just need to connect to a wifi.
I want My Best Ever Super Plan. I want Samsung A7, which is not under MyLifestyle Plan as well.
Hi Jai,
The new My Lifestyle plan is designed for all of us to answer our specific needs. This new plan is tailored for people who prefer not only single options but limitless possibilities in terms of enjoying unlimited fun such as music, navigation, downloads, to say the rest. Also take note that the higher plan you get, the greater chance of having a new competitive smartphone you want.
Same here. Inthink that the My Best Ever Super Plan is still the best plan. For people (like me) who don’t want any new phone and don’t want the hassle of having to go to a reloading station everytime you run out of load, I will definitely not upgrade. Besides, with the basic P299/month, I’d get 40mins of globe calls and 400sms to all networks, which is just enough for me. Besides, I can have the option to change my boosters anytime.
Same here, the concept of Best Ever Super Plan is better. You are not required to get unli text and call to globe and tm. The new plan is better if you need unlicall text to tm/globe. I can efficiently use the PV points in best ever based on my needs. On the plus side, the lifestyle plan has many options to choose from but all of these will be on top of your base plan 499. It is better if they just upgrade the best ever plan by adding many options like they did in lifestyle plan. In short, i will not upgrade. =)
