The film stars an international ensemble cast led by Aaron Taylor-Johnson, Oscar® nominee Ken Watanabe, Elizabeth Olsen, Oscar® winner Juliette Binoche, and Oscar® nominee Sally Hawkins, with Oscar® nominee David Strathairn and Emmy® and Golden Globe Award winner Bryan Cranston.

One of the features of the film, aside from Monster vs. Monster action are the characters that will give us the drama element with flying colors. Joe Brody (Bryan Cranston) a Scientist/Nuclear Engineer working for Janjira and his reunion with his son Ford Brody (Aaron Taylor-Johnson) who is a member of the Military plus other casts like Ken Watanabe, Elizabeth Olsen etc.
Warner Bros.’ re-invention of “Godzilla” trampled its competition at the Philippine box-office, hauling off a four-day opening weekend gross of P 90.4-million for the May 15-18 frame. This was announced today by Francis Soliven, General Manager of Warner Bros. Philippines.
