Today’s hottest ‘IT’ girl, Solenn Heussaff, is slated to appear in her most challenging and most daring role to date, as she portrays the role of Sophia in Peque Gallaga’s “Seduction”.
The French-Filipina beauty, who is signed exclusively to Regal Films, experiences a lot of ‘firsts’ in her new movie outing: This marks Solenn’s first full length team-up with her favorite Leading Man, Richard Gutierrez. Chard and Solenn have already proven their good chemistry together on screen and indeed, they do look good together. This truly makes an exciting partnership on the big screen. Secondly, this is Solenn’s first ‘sexy’ and most daring film to date, as she plays Sophia, a modern, out-going and liberated European-Filipina girl who always gets what she wants, to the point of being a ‘seductres’ to the likes of Richard.
It’s a role that Solenn has not done before, and when the script of ‘Seduction, was being written, it was a unanimous decision that the beautiful model/ society girl turned celebrity/actress, one of today’s hottest, fits her role to a T. in fact, when Solenn read the script, she fell in love with her role. Thirdly, this role of Sophia is Solenn”s first ‘serious’ portrayal. In fact, its her most challenging role to date. It’s very provocative and dramatic, as a woman who is only looking for love, a woman who will do anything and everything for love. “It’s a very complex, complicated role”, says Solenn. “Sophia has hobe trough a lot, and she’ll fight for what she believes in”, she adds. Solenn prepared for the role by attending extensive workshops, including a few with director Peque. This is Peque Gallaga’s return to film-making, and Solenn is honored and excited to be one of the lead actors in what seems to be one one of the most emotional must-see films of the year.
“Seduction” also stars Sarah Lahbati. Completing the cast are Jay Manalo, Yayo Aguila, and Mark Gil, with the special participation of Rodjun Cruz and introducing Jon Orlando of TV 5’s Artista Academy
