Lorenzo’s Time is an upcoming ABS-CBN drama series starring Zaijan Jaranilla and Carmina Villaroel.
Lorenzo’s Time offers viewers a unique and fresh story of a child who is stricken by progeria, a rare condition wherein symptoms resembling aspects of aging are manifested at an early age. How will Enzo (Zaijan Jaranilla) react when he wakes up from cyronics and finds out that the people around him have aged but he himself have kept the same physical features? How will he go with the flow of the new generation that is new to him?
In an interview during a photo shoot for his series,” Jaranilla said this will be his first time to play a character who is rich.
Carmina Villarroel is excited about playing “leading lady” to Zaijian Jaranilla in her first soap as Kapamilya returnee. The actress was very excited about the project because its story is unique.
“Ang role ko dito kababata ko si Zaijian tapos meron kaming sumpaan sa isa’t isa, parang childhood sweethearts na sa pagtanda kami pa rin, mag-aasawa ganyan. And then something happened to him, nagkaroon siya ng sakit. Ipa-fastforward namin, lumaki na ako naiwan siya sa ganon (pagkabata).
As a matter of fact, when she was offered the role in the teleserye and was told that Zaijian was going to be her leading man, she got excited about the whole idea. “Parang it’s not the usual makikita mo ako atsaka si ganyan ito talaga bagets na bata, so na-excite ako. Nung kinuwento sa akin, hindi ako nagdalawang-isip, na-excite na ako at parang, ‘Halika ka, na gawin na natin.’ Parang it’s happening now, ang saya lang.”
A mother to twins, Carmina related that her kids were surprised when she revealed that her new leading man is almost as old as they are. “Natuwa naman sila kasi na-excite din sila, ang mga anak ko very supportive.”
