(RIDE) Ride A Grab Car and Treat Yourself with a Healthy Fitbar!

I welcomed 2018 with a positive vibes. In fact some of the things I wanted to prioritize this year are about my finances, grooming and food that I eat. I will share a different story about healthy meals and my finances on a separate blog. Well, in fact this story is not about my aspirations to 2018 but something I discovered from commuting.

Since last week, I was availing Grab and Uber from home to work and I noticed that Grab Philippines is making their commuters spoiled with a partnership from Fitbar. Yep, Grab Philippines is now providing us some snacks on our way to work as Fitbar and Grab team together, to bring to the Filipino commuters the “Grab-A-Fitbar” Project which aims to reach 100,000 passengers within Metro Manila.

Well. other than I am glad that Grab is back, the fitbar partnership is a sign that 2018 is indeed good.

“I am a loyal Grab user because I love the attitude of most Grab drivers. One time, I was stuck in heavy traffic for almost 2 hours. I was hungry already. Then I remembered I had Fitbar in my bag. I shared the Fitbar with the driver, and he was so thankful. So, it dawned on me, I wanted to share Fitbar to other drivers and passengers too, to relieve them from hunger during heavy traffic.”, shared Diana Aaron-Ong, Brand Manager of Fitbar.
“Grab provides a safe, convenient and affordable transportation option to move around the city,” stated Cindy Toh, Country Marketing Head of Grab. “We are honored to be partners with Fitbar Philippines to help our fellow citizens not only reach their destinations way but also do so with healthy snacks in hand.”

I was lucky to get some from very friendly drivers of Grab Philippines.

“Based on a research we recently conducted, we found out that most Filipinos experience intense hunger while driving or commuting,” explained Aaron-Ong. Filipinos are becoming more and more health conscious about their snack choices. They want tastier snacks, which may be unhealthy, thus leading to guilt afterwards. Aaron-Ong continues, “Fitbar can satisfy these cravings, minus the guilt. Fitbar provides ‘snacking with no worry’.”
