Magnolia Ice Cream Best of the Philippines – 6 Flavors
Last week, Magnolia Ice Cream, the first name in ice cream, launched its newest flavors to promote the tourist spots and the festivals of Laguna and Batangas, among other provinces in line with the Philippines’ tourism campaign with the theme “It’s more fun in the Philippines.”
Happy to have attended an event that promotes Filipino culture and our pride. The pioneering ice cream brand in the country announced its Best of the Philippines (BOTP) flavor collection like Macapuno Banana and Macapuno Langka for the province of Laguna and Coffee Crumble and Tsokolate Tablea for the province of Batangas.
HERE ARE THE 6 FUN FLAVORS!
Magnolia Ice Cream Best of the Philippines – Ube Keso
Magnolia Ice Cream Best of the Philippines – Tsokolate Tablea
Magnolia Ice Cream Best of the Philippines – Mangoes and Cream
Magnolia Ice Cream Best of the Philippines – Macapuno Langka
Magnolia Ice Cream Best of the Philippines – Macapuno Banana
Magnolia Ice Cream Best of the Philippines – Coffee Crumble
I love Coffee Cramble and UBE among the list but I cannot rank them according to perfection as all of the flavors are worth trying! We were also able to talk to MIC General Manager Mayo Alcon, who said that the flavors best represent these provinces in the same way that the brand promoted Guimaras through its Mangoes and Cream and the Baguio Good Shepherd with the Ube Keso variety.
“We are happy that these provinces agreed to be featured for our new Magnolia Ice Cream flavors. We are hitting two birds with one stone by promoting our new flavors and the country’s tourism program,” Alcon said.
“These flavors are Laguna and Batangas’ very own and Magnolia Ice Cream lovers will surely enjoy these while visiting these beautiful tourist spots, “Alcon added.
Alcon thanked Laguna Gov. Jeorge “ER”Ejercito Estregan and Batangas Gov. Vilma Santos (and Vice Gov. Mark Leviste) along with Department of Tourism secretary Ramon Jimenez, who graced the press launch at the San Miguel Corporation (SMC) head office in Mandaluyong City.
The tubwrap of Laguna’s Macapuno Banana and Macapuno Langka flavors will feature tourist spots Rizal Shrine, Hidden Valley, Pagsanjan Falls, St. Peter Alcantara Church and Mt. Makiling as well as the Anakalang and LuisianaPandan Festivals.
The Batangas tub wrap highlights the Mt. Carmel Church in Lipa City, Taal Park, Calaruega Church, Jaybanga Lobo, Taal Volcano, Ambon-Ambon Falls, Malabrigo Lighthouse, Fantasy World, Mt. Malarayat, Acuatico San Juan Laiya and CintalCoritos Garden Resort along with the Ala Eh Festival.
Also served to guests during the launch were Magnolia Ice Cream’s Double Gold edition flavors Double Dutch/Choco Chip Cookie Dough, Ube Keso/Creamy Halo-Halo, Cookies & Cream/Rocky Road.
Both BOTP and Double Gold varieties are available in 1.5L sizes.
Magnolia Ice Cream also introduced two new additions to its Frozen Delights line – Fizz, a mix of rootbeer and vanilla ice cream on a stick, and Cookie Monster, a four way choco-monstrousice cream sensation, both being endorsed by teen star Elmo Magalona.
There’s also MIC’s Cookie Monster, which satisfies a chocolate lover’s craving as it is coated with chocolate from coating to filling. There are chocolate cereal balls and chocolate coating on the outside with chocolate ice cream, and rich chocolate fudge inside to complete the experience.
Cookie Monster is now available for only P18 at your favorite supermarkets and convenience stores.
Fizz is a rootbeer-flavored ice lolly with vanilla ice cream filling.
“Magnolia Fizz is an exciting new product for us as this is the first time we are combining rootbeer with vanilla in one ice cream stick, very much like the famous drink we used to enjoy, ”said Magnolia Ice Cream general manager Mayo Alcon.
Im a big fan of Rootbeer! FIZZ is my ice cream for this summer!
